Step by step
- Register on the e-Passport online portal and fill in the application, selecting your mission in the US.
- Print the application summary (and appointment summary where shown).
- Go to the mission with the printed summary and your original documents and copies.
- Give your biometrics and pay the fee as the mission instructs (New York: debit or credit card).

- Printed online application summary
- National ID card (NID) or 17-digit birth registration certificate with English names matching
- Current passport and a photocopy
- Proof of lawful US status, or dual nationality certificate if applicable

Can I renew my Bangladesh passport at the Miami consulate?
Only if you live in its consular district: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee and South Carolina. If you live elsewhere, apply at the Bangladesh office for your state.
